A Guided Walk (and Mad Hatters Tea Party!) at RSPB Salthome
Our Reaching Communities Projects - providing social activities for isolated people
Funded primarily by National Lottery Players through the Community Fund, we run a range of activities across Teesside, and specialise in supporting people who are Blind or visually impaired.
Our regular monthly sessions are held in Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar and Middlesbrough, and we also provide a befriending service and advice on equipment and adaptations for people with Long Term Conditions and mobility issues.

Our programme for 2023
This year we have a programme of monthly sessions across the Teesside Region for a number of different groups
Social workshops with tailored activities
Great for people's wellbeing, getting together for tea and biscuits plus the added challenge of trying out a new craft or doing a quiz keeps us all engaged and active!
Picnics in the Park
Weather permitting (although we do provide waterproof ponchos if needed!) we will go for short ambles and picnics in the park during the summer months
Carers Group
New for us this year is our Carers group, and we are providing monthly activities for Carers and the people they support
For 2024 we hope to visit MIMA art gallery in Middlesbrough and a local museum for audio tours as well as our other activities.
