This Project has a number of elements and we know it will have an impact on the health and wellbeing of the people we work with, including participants, volunteers, our staff, associates, and local businesses. Our activities are designed for people who are Blind or Visually Impaired and we provide specialist support and train walk leaders and volunteers
to act as Sighted Guides.

Workshops focussed on the coast and shores
Throughout our project we will host a number of workshops delivered by our Partner the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, using a multisensory approach to maximise enjoyment and participation.
UIn 2023 we will visit Redcar Beach and Coatham Marsh, and in 2024 we will go to Seaton Carew near Hartlepool, and finish the project with a trip to Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
Using all the senses to enhance the experience and with support from volunteers the walks will be safe and enjoyable for all.
